A town that highlights the educational and social value of traditional and handcrafted games and toys.

Fira JocJoc, held annually in Tona, is an event dedicated to traditional, handcrafted, and educational games and toys.

Aiming to solidify the town’s position as the capital of traditional games, we have redesigned its brand identity to create a strong and distinctive visual presence. This identity is designed to endure across editions and adapt seamlessly to annual graphic variations.

The highlight of this redesign is the creation of a mascot that serves as the brand’s central image. This character humanizes the brand, enhances its memorability, and most importantly, fosters a deeper emotional connection with the audience.

To provide greater versatility and depth, we have developed multiple “faces” or variations of the mascot. This enriches the visual narrative, allows for more adaptable communication, and strengthens the emotional bond with the brand.

A mascot and a vibrant visual system that reflect the playful spirit and identity of Tona.

The 2024 edition’s graphics feature a dynamic visual system inspired by basic geometric shapes—tokens, rings, and dice—classic elements that capture the essence of play. This approach emphasizes simplicity and universality, embodying the idea that “Everything is play.”

With a vibrant color palette and friendly shapes inspired by board games, recycled toys, and traditional play cultures, the aesthetic conveys a playful, inclusive spirit. This visual concept resonates deeply with audiences, celebrating play as a source of joy and intergenerational connection.
